It’s more flexible to be clamped with contraction. Bigger clamping range. With more slots. Clamping flexibility = 0.5mm when internal hole size is more than ∅3mm under ∅3mm is 0.25mm.	Can not be clamp with contraction. Only for the cutting tools that the shank diameter same as the collet’s hole diameter. Special in clamping force and more steady precision. With less slots. No clamping flexibility. Tool’s external dia. Must be the same as the collet’s internal hole. Rigidity and precision are better than UP type.
